Re: The Official Twilight Time Blu-ray Thread
Totally agree with you there. I wonder how it would've turned out if Savini had done it in b&w? Or, you know, he could have just hired a good DP, too.

Re: The Official Twilight Time Blu-ray Thread
Nice to see a pre-order date on that NOTLD release.
Leaning towards picking it up. |
Re: The Official Twilight Time Blu-ray Thread
Ugh, such awful awful artwork for NOTLD. As has been pointed out for $35 some decent artwork would be great.

Re: The Official Twilight Time Blu-ray Thread
Thanks KillerCannibal, just ordered Enemy Mine!
|
Re: The Official Twilight Time Blu-ray Thread
Yep, just ordered NotLD.

Re: The Official Twilight Time Blu-ray Thread
Apparently Night of the Living Dead is selling really well. The rumor is it's already sold over 600 copies.
I was looking at Twilight Time's facebook and they are responding to comments on their NOTD post. Someone asked them if this will encourage more horror Blus, and they replied with: I don't know if it will necessarily encourage more horror titles, but we have several genre titles on the schedule already for 2013....Bruce knows that one of his favorites, Christine, is coming... |
Re: The Official Twilight Time Blu-ray Thread
I will gladly pay $30 for classic Carpenter on BD.
|
Re: The Official Twilight Time Blu-ray Thread
Christine would be just fabulous.
|
Re: The Official Twilight Time Blu-ray Thread
I'm skipping this version of Night of the Living Dead, but I'll happily snap up Christine when it becomes available. I enjoyed it a heckuva lot more than I expected when I watched it for the first time a few months ago.
|
Re: The Official Twilight Time Blu-ray Thread
CHRISTINE? damnit i actually have to spend $30 on one of these releases
|
Re: The Official Twilight Time Blu-ray Thread
NOTLD is flying off the virtual shelves - over 1200 copies sold so far!
|
Re: The Official Twilight Time Blu-ray Thread
1,200?!? OMG.
LOL. I guess that's something to be excited over. A public domain title. |

This is the 1990 remake of Night Of The Living Dead, owned by Sony. It's definitely not in the public domain and will likely sell out within the week.
Gizmo has never let knowledge and facts get in the way of a post. |
Re: The Official Twilight Time Blu-ray Thread
I changed my mind. Not going to hop on the NOTLD disc.
|
Re: The Official Twilight Time Blu-ray Thread
I didn't think this movie was that popular. I am surprised that it is selling so well, but if it gets us more horror titles, then more power to it.
Maybe some people are making the same mistake Gizmo did and think they are getting the original. |
Re: The Official Twilight Time Blu-ray Thread
I'm in with NOTLD.
|
Re: The Official Twilight Time Blu-ray Thread
Placed an order for NOTLD.
And apparently I'll have to get Christine once that's available, too... |
Re: The Official Twilight Time Blu-ray Thread
I am not seeing any of these stats on their facebook page...
|
Re: The Official Twilight Time Blu-ray Thread
In for NOTLD. That's a bit of money though...
|
Re: The Official Twilight Time Blu-ray Thread
NVM looks like NOTLD is down to 1673 copies!
