The Birds on Blu-ray would be awesome. I got to see a very nice 35mm print last year at TCM's special screening in St. Louis and it looked pristine.

Definitely look forward to announcements of Shadow of a Doubt and Rope. Would also certainly not turn down good blu-rays of Vertigo and Rear Window. However, I personally feel a lot of the others, The Birds included, are a bit overrated and a little dull IMHO.
Also, I hope Warner Bros. puts Strangers on a Train on blu-ray this year.
Since they were also mentioned, does anybody else feel that, while some of the Universal monster sequels are fun in their own campy ways, Bride of Frankenstein is the only sequel that really "needs" an HD/blu-ray transfer? I think the other films in the series could just be compiled in SD as bonus discs in blu-ray sets, like the Legacy collections, just having HD prints of Dracula, Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, The Mummy, The Invisible Man, The Wolfman, and The Creature from the Black Lagoon.

If they already have HD transfers of them, then I definitely think they should release them that way.
I was only thinking that if it came down to them not wanting to include them in a set because they didn't want to spend the time or money to do HD transfers, then I'd rather they just include them in SD to replace the old sets.
