I am hoping they may do a discounted 3 pack. Does WB have any others to release after Suspicion?

^A 5 pack then! ;)

I doubt they'll do a multi-pack. I'm sure WB wants the highest profit margins they can get with the Archives Line.

If anybody bought Lifeboat, could you verify that the original theatrical trailer is on the disc? I'm asking because it was listed on the old DVD as an extra, but wasn't there.

The blu-ray of Lifeboat has a "blu-ray release trailer". It sort of feels like a normal trailer but gives the blu-ray release date at the end.

I have no idea if the rest of the trailer is similar at all to the original theatrical trailer.

Thanks. I had a feeling it might be a new one made for this release.

Kino Lorber Studio Classics is also bringing Under Capricorn to Blu-ray. No release date or extras yet, but it is from a new 4K restoration.

Sweet. This is the one Hitchcock I've never been able to warm up to - maybe the restoration will help with that.

Kino Lorber is releasing a gaggle of early Hitchcock films on Blu-ray:

The Ring (1927), The Farmer’s Wife (1928), Champagne (1928), The Manxman (1929), The Skin Game (1931) and Rich and Strange (1931) will be released as a 6-Film Boxed Set on DVD and Blu-ray.

The following three will receive stand-alone special edition releases on DVD and Blu-ray:
Blackmail (1929)
Murder! (1930)
Number Seventeen (1932)

Interesting. This exactly mirrors the contents of Studio Canal's "Early Hitchcock" DVD set from 2007. At the time that was released, I believe the four silent films had received recent restorations. Not sure about the others. It will be curious to see how much of a bump these get on Blu, and if there any updates to the content. I'd read somewhere about a missing scene from Murder!

Meanwhile the "Hitchcock 9" continues to languish in obscurity since their restorations by the BFI in 2013-2014. But I hear The Pleasure Garden is finally on the way.

Here's to hoping they release all four titles individually in standard cases.

Vudu has the four UHD titles for $8.99 each. The HD versions are frequently on sale so these probably will be too at some point.

iTunes has a 14 movie set for $49.99. It should have the four UHD titles. iTunes usually gives you the best quality available in bundles/sales.

I already have the 14-pack in HDX so I’m just interested in the 4K titles. Interestingly, iTunes, Fandango, and Microsoft only allow me to watch those titles in HDX while Vudu gives me the option to upgrade.

Seeing a 70mm print of Vertigo was perhaps the single greatest cinematic experience of my life. The UHD disc will be mine once they release it individually.

I'm hoping for this too before I cave in and buy the new set
