Yes every post on the forum there leads into a slipcover discussion, people buy movies based on if there is a slipcover or not. whatever.

Kind of like how people HERE are with inserts!
I haven't seen an 'insert discussion' since the DVD days... |

This thread makes me want to register an account at blu-ray.com, fire up photoshop and make a fake slipcover for a movie known to not have a slipcover (like "The Crow") and then casually post a picture of it in a thread showing off my collection.
And then, when everyone goes nuts and asks me where I got it, I'd tell them "Amazon." http://i44.tinypic.com/k68wg.jpg http://i44.tinypic.com/myi0.jpg ;) TLK  |

Re: these people are obsessed with slipcovers
So now you have at least three Inglorious Bastards, all the same content but just because there are three slipcovers

Actually, I only have one copy of Inglorious Bastards and three different slipcovers. I also have the UK version which has a very nice slipbox. :D

Re: these people are obsessed with slipcovers
TLK- those look very nice with the price tags on them, especially ones that cover up the titles (SCRE?) I'll be sure to run out and look for them!

Re: these people are obsessed with slipcovers
Damn!! I have FOUR slipcovers and one slipbox. I miscounted the goldie.

Re: these people are obsessed with slipcovers
So, do you buy extra empty blu-ray cases to put these on, since you said you only actually have one coy of the movie?

Yes, that's correct. Some members like to store away their slips. I like to keep my slips with my blu collection. The extra empty cases keep the slipcover in shape.

How do you keep track of which one actually has the discs in it? I'm sure it's kinda like me. I have over 2000 dvd/blus, and I keep them all alphabetized (except for my Criterions by spine), and I can easily tell almost exactly where anything is without really searching for it. |

I still like the red cover myself the very best... that's what I've got. Pain in the ASS to take off the sticker though.
