So buy it somewhere else ;) :
https://www.yesasia.com/us/black-pan...0-en/info.html Most of the previous ones couldn’t be had for much less than $80 anyway. |
Re: The Official "3D" Blu ray Thread. Now with Smell-O-Vision.
True. Some how it was more reasonable though.

$100?? No. Just no. This will be the first Marvel Blu 3D I won’t get. I’m not paying $100 USD. That’s ridiculous. I’ll buy the digital with all extras, but not paying $100. Dammit.

Re: The Official "3D" Blu ray Thread. Now with Smell-O-Vision.
Well, in those 6 minutes, I realized or remembered how good the first looks in 3D. But, mostly it was the semi-completist in me. I have every other, even the not so great Dr. Strange 2 and Thor 4. I knew I wanted it, but I can justify the $75, since I’ve obviously done before, but never paid $100. It’s a disease, I know it all to well. That’s what happened in those six minutes.

Re: The Official "3D" Blu ray Thread. Now with Smell-O-Vision.
What do you think is the best Marvel movie on Blu-ray 3D?
I think for me it’s a toss up between Black Panther and Doctor Strange. |
Re: The Official "3D" Blu ray Thread. Now with Smell-O-Vision.
Anyone get Jurassic World: Dominion? Wondering how it is in 3D. Thanks.

Re: The Official "3D" Blu ray Thread. Now with Smell-O-Vision.
Thought it was as excellent as the other 3D Blu-ray versions in the franchise. Hard to say much about each new 3D Blu as they're usually up to expectations: lots of depth, no pop-outs, etc. Just wish Random Space would get some kind of contract to release the Marvel movies. :)

Found a 3D Doctor Who Blu-ray...at Dollar Tree of all places just last week.

There's "The Day of the Doctor," which is the 50th Anniversary special, and was shot in 3D. Then there's "Doctor Who: Dark Water / Death in Heaven," which is a two-parter season finale that was converted to 3D for a limited theatrical screening and home video release. Hamilton Book has the latter for $4.95: https://www.hamiltonbook.com/doctor-...ven-3d-blu-ray They also have a number of other relatively cheap 3D Blu-rays: https://www.hamiltonbook.com/blu-ray...&pf%5B20%5D=20 |

I thought WAKANDA was the worst of the MCU movies. I'd not pay more than $15 for it but only to keep my MCU collection complete.

If you backed Robot Monster on Kickstarter, you have to go in and update your mailing address.
Look for Response needed email from 2/5/23. Apparently, Kickstarter is going to delete all of the backer reports, which includes the addresses. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects.../posts/3721002 If you don't have the email, sign in and go here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...?ref=user_menu View Survey in the top bar |

Re: The Official "3D" Blu ray Thread. Now with Smell-O-Vision.
Will be interesting to see how the 3D is in this, given how badly-made it looks in general. 3D Film Archive does have a habit of making movies look better than they were meant to.

Re: The Official "3D" Blu ray Thread. Now with Smell-O-Vision.
That cover alone makes me want it. The 3D is secondary. 😂 Is this up for preorder anywhere?

Re: The Official "3D" Blu ray Thread. Now with Smell-O-Vision.
How do I back it?

They actually got over six times their initial ask of $10,000, so clearly there’s still a lot of love out there for it. I like the new cover art (presumably it will be used for the lenticular slipcover add-on), but I really hope the original promotional materials will be on the disc as a gallery of some kind. I guess the only way to buy it now is to just wait until Bayview starts selling it.

I have been hanging on to my PS4 VR stuff for near a year now just to watch this stupid movie.

Re: The Official "3D" Blu ray Thread. Now with Smell-O-Vision.
This could end up being the release of the year.
Random Space is teasing 3 Dreamworks movies that got snubbed though: Bad Guys, Rise of Gru and Sing 2. |

Just noticed some comments on their Facebook post begging for the JAWS (75) 3D disc as well. Considering their relationship with Universal, that would be pretty cool. |
Re: The Official "3D" Blu ray Thread. Now with Smell-O-Vision.
I would love The Bad Guys in 3D. Please someone post when preorder is up.
