Is there some kind of hidden easter egg system to access the commentary track and trailer? There's nothing on the main menu and only one audio option when the film's playing.

Doesn't it say "Play / Set Up / Search / Bonus" on the bottom of the screen when it loads? Should be in the "Bonus" area.

No "bonus" anywhere. Just "play" "setup" and "search" (centered on the screen in a V-formation)

Is this film one where there was a rental version (without the features) was produced?

If so, it might be that you accidentally got the rental disc in your case. It's happened before.

Hmmm. Looks like something fishy is going on here. I've emailed Foxconnect; possibly thery'll have an explanation. (Maybe different discs were made for distribution in Canada and someone just screwed up somewhere?) Or maybe they'll just ignore me.

I still have the old DVD (with the same commentary), though, so it's not a major disaster. At worst, it's a slightly interesting collectable oddity.
