Intriguing comparison obscurelabel!
Blu-ray.com review of Basket Case
I don't know why this hasn't shown up in my Gold Box, every other horror/exploitation Blu-ray has.

From AV Maniacs:
The next Something Weird BD is going to be a double-bill of Gore Gore Girls and Wizard of Gore...I asked Frank Henenlotter. He estimates about March/April but that's just a guess.

Didn't know if there were any non-U.S. readers of this thread, but:

In each case, people need to put the disc in their player and wait for the message that it's not compatible. Then press "Top menu" on your player's remote, and you'll be taken to the disc's main menu page. From there, you can view the films, extras etc without problem.
Again, aplologies if this has already been mentioned (I did a search but found nothing).
I learned of this courtesy of Sex Gore Mutants (www.sexgoremutants.co.uk) and have checked it out on two Region B Panasonic blu-ray players with success.

Yeah, I agree -- I would buy that double-feature without a moment's hesitation. THE CHILD was a quirky and wonderful film just drowning in great atmosphere.

Re: Something Weird is going Blu-Ray
Got Bosom Buddies in the mail Tuesday. On one hand, it sucks that it doesn't replace my Bare Box Set, since it doesn't have a couple of the films. On the other hand, it included a new one I didn't have.
