Yes, but Wal-Mart charges shipping and taxes. Plus, with Amazon I might be able to have any later price reductions or special offers retroactively refunded from my order. Not to mention the fact that it's sure to show up in my Gold Box at some point.

The Blu-ray producer has already confirmed that the complaints about the last transfer were addressed on a new transfer. For all we know the new transfer will have some totally different deal-breaking flaw (I seriously doubt it though) but it will be a different transfer regardless.

I hope so too, but even if it's only a minor upgrade over the AB disc - as disappointing as that would be - I'd still pick it up, as I never bought the previous version on BD, and the Lionsgate will likely be the definitive home video version, even if only be default.

I doubt they'd go through all the trouble to produce such extensive new extras and leave the transfer as an afterthought.
Day one for sure. I love the first two Evil Dead films, Army of Darkness, not so much.
