Kingdom of War Parts I and II.

I didn't even know these movies existed until a couple of weeks ago. I very much enjoyed Red Cliff and Mongol and am willing to take a chance on this at amazon's price for the two-pack ($17.99). I'm hoping for more in the vein of those two movies.

I miss old school epic moviemaking and it seems that Asian cinema is doing quite a bit of it these days, and sometimes doing it very well.

The best part is, if I like them, a third installment in the series was just released overseas, and a fourth is apparently planned/in the works.

Based on some very brief research, it looks like a Wal-Mart exclusive. As an aside, I enjoyed this movie as a kid but saw it a few years ago. I wish I had left it in my past.

Bought Makioka Sisters on SD for my mom. We saw it in the theaters years ago and every so often she asks if it's available.

Will probably rent Battle LA sometime when I'm not paying attention to my Netflix queue.

Forgot Foo Fighters: Back and Forth is out as a Best Buy exclusvie this week too. Might have to order that.
