I love Dick Tracy!! Visually it is amazing! And has to be one of the best "to-the-big-screen" translations yet! And well, now that Warren Beatty is the sole owner of the character, it's always possible for a sequel or even a reboot. I'm just glad that Disney is showing the movie some love again and making it available on many fronts!!

Zero extras...not even the theatrical trailer (which at least they threw on The Rocketeer Blu-ray).

At least it looks and sounds really good.

I need to pick this one up. Surprisingly little of Beatty's catalog is on Blu Ray. Shockingly the only available titles are Dick Tracy, Bonnie & Clyde and Ishtar (!). Reds is OOP and The Fortune with a Twilight Time title that was instantly out. No Bugsy, no Shampoo, no Paralax View, no McCabe & Mrs. Miller, no Bulworth, no Heaven Can Wait.

It sounds like you are saying that The Fortune is sold out, however it has not. It is still available for purchase.

edit : I see, at their official webiste. I didn't see it available at Amazon except by third parties and thought it was sold out. I might buy that.

After my previous post, I went to eBay and bought a mint copy of Reds for $25 since it's like $75 at Amazon and I only have the HD-DVD version (and no more HD-DVD player in my cabinet)

The only thing I remember about that movie is how long it was. I took my relatively new girlfriend on a date to see that movie and it was excruciatingly long.
