It will go along nicely with his "flat screen showing Scarface 24-7"

Why is the 1932 version DVD only? I wish Universal would release classics on Blu-ray too. We should have gotten Wolf Man when the remake came out but noooooooooooo. If FOX can release the original Day The Earth Stood Still why won't Unoversal release there classics?

I was sure the $999.99 MSRP for the humidor was a typo, since the UK has a set with a cigar box style case that was only 59.99 pounds, and I Googled a humidor to see a picture of one and the first one that came up was $49.99. Nope. I got a press release in my inbox and it had the same number. Who the fuck does Universal think is going to buy that shit? I mean, beside all of the rappers in the featurette from the previous DVD?

If by "people" you mean "no-name rappers" then I agree with you.

Yeah, I was hoping for the Hawks film on Blu - don't care much about the DePalma version, but I'll give it a rent if Netflix gets it.

*sigh* 5 years ago I had to do a project in psychology, forgot which one though...hrm.. ANYWAY it was about the view of Male Masculinity in films...I did a presentation about it. I don't remember how I got into Scarface but I did...I think it was because I was talking about culture masculinity...I think. Brought it up and after the mention of it I compared remakes that had a change for the characters in terms of race/relgion/etc....one guy would not just believe that it was a remake.

Considering Fathom just streams a digital file, I'll pass. These events would be so much more worthwhile if they were screening 35mm.

So any reviews yet?
I'm wondering if Universal Lebowski'd it.
EDIT: Nevermind, found some screencaps. Looks good.
