lol, on the artwork it says "Four Disc Set." That's absolutely hilarious that they would put that when in reality it's only gonna be 1 or 2 discs. Yes I know it's not final artwork yet but still, that's funny.

I've only caught a little bit of this one. I think I agree with slop101 that it seems to be hit or miss. But it's certainly a big step up from 'Lucky Louie'.
Was this even shot in HD, though? The production values are crap.

This show is great. Some of the stories hide the humor so much, that I'm not suprised people wouldn't find them funny. For those who haven't seen it - it's very real and very dry and finds it's humor in there somewhere. Kind of like a lot of the King of the Hill episodes (I'm sure there's better examples out there, but I don't watch much TV). There are some episodes that just don't make me laugh. But they're still really fucking good.
The episodes are on Hulu (for now). I've seen them all, but will probably pick up the Blu-Ray sometime.

From Wikipedia:
Red Cameras are an HD camera line-up. I don't know, I thought it looked pretty good on FX when it aired in HD.
C.K. accepted the modest offer of $200,000 (covering his own fee as well as production costs) to do a pilot with FX over prospective production deals with larger networks because they allowed him full executive control of the show. The show is shot on a Red camera setup, and C.K. edits many of the episodes on his 13" MacBook Pro.[7][8] In addition to starring, Louie serves as the series' sole writer and director, an unusual distinction in television production.

So... this is going to be two flipper discs. BD on one side, DVD on the other. I'm not a fan of flipper discs, but I guess this makes sense from the studio's standpoint, as I read that the DVD set is also flipper discs. This way, they don't have to press two sets of discs, which I guess makes releasing the show on Blu-ray more economical for them? I REALLY hope this doesn't become a trend, but if this is the only way we're going to get Fox to continue to release shows on Blu-ray, then I guess I'll have to deal with it.

Is anyone having problems with this release? Getting the Blu-ray to play in my slim PS3 is a crapshoot. Sometimes it will recognize it and sometimes it won't. Read a few reviews on Amazon where others had similar problems. Is it a bad copy or are the PS3's just not able to recognize something as stupid as a Blu-ray flipper disc?

Is Season 2 going OOP or just not selling that well?
You can only get it from Amazon market place sellers and the price is kind of high at Best Buy.
