Ghost Cat on Blu-ray: Or, what are some other rare and hard to find Blus?

The other day I walked into a local regional grocery chain that has a video department inside, and they always have used DVDs and now BDs for sale that were rentals, although usually the selection isn't that great. Anyway, I stumbled upon Ghost Cat on BD for $5. I didn't know it was rare or anything, and only looked at it since me and my wife have a cat, and I was going to buy it for my wife as a sorta joke Valentine's Day gift since she loves cats and ghosts, but after I started looking at it I decided to check it out online like I do with most titles I'm unfamiliar with, and was shocked to read that it was rare for some reason.

I did a little research and discovered that this one was only available back in 2009 to retailers who bought 3-packs of the DVD for resale or rent. What other BD titles can you guys think of that were marketed as such? Or like the topic says, what are some other really rare and hard to find Blus that you can think of? Obviously there are the Twilight releases, but what else along the same lines as Ghost Cat?

Here are some pictures of GT, and the promo image I found for it when it was first released...

Sorry.

It was at Ingles, a chain that is only here in the south east I do believe.

As long as they haven't all been bought up it would likely be worth checking your local rental places along the same lines though, since it wasn't just exclusive to Ingles. I've already called the other stores in my area and they all told me that they all had it at one point, but sold out of it years ago. I have no clue why my local store still had one in stock. I'm guessing they still had it as a rental until here recently.

I'm waiting for the Ghost Cat/Ghost Dog team-up movie with Forest Whitaker.

A number of rental exclusives exist on Blu-ray from around 2008 to 2010, which were produced in very low quantities. Hounddog is another BD like Ghost Cat in this situation.

Different situation, but Criterion's BR of The Third Man is very hard to find and ridiculously expensive. Seriously, it's obscene how much it goes for.
