the fact that its on store shelves and plus a co worker at work who ordered it a few weeks ago got a shipping notice from amzon on the 18th and had it in his hand tuesday night, then brought it into work and let me borrow it last night.
the only reason why i didnt buy it at ameoba records was because their price was 13.99.

I wish that I had known about this before I got the dvd set. There's really only two good Ernest movies ; Saves Christmas and Goes To Camp. If they did a blu-ray set of those two, I'd be all over it.

Scared Stupid is alright. Definately not the best Ernest movie. That would be Goes To Camp. Scared Stupid just seemed more cobbled together with bits and pieces that were leftover from other Ernest movies. It has a good story, but I felt that more could've been done with it. It's definately better than Dr. Otto, though.

Blu-ray.com on Galaxina/Crater Lake - Does Amazon seriously think anyone is going to shell out $11.99 for this?

I had never seen Goes To Camp before and after watching it I wish I could go back in time to a few days ago. It has a few funny parts but for the most part it is cringe inducing.

Got the cancellation email for Django, from Amazon. On a whim, I asked if I could get a credit since it was never released and so I could use the credit for the other Django blu-ray.
They gave me $5 credit and I bought the other one, just like I said

Re: Hey Vern, Ernest is coming to Blu-ray.
Ernest is one of those things that I think is better to leave in my memories. I rented "Ernest Saves Christmas" a few months back and it was seriously painful trying to get through. I loved it as a kid. Sigh, oh well...
