How often do you buy DVD/BRD?

Re: How often do you buy DVD/BRD?
I don't think either is particularly better, but the time it takes to work a deal on eBay can be time-consuming.
I have really questioned how much I buy. I just spent almost $100 at Big Lots (though this was for purchases in the last month) ... and around $100 at FYE in the last month (the local location was going out of business). Most of the purchases at FYE were marginal deals, but were for things that don't really ever go on sale or were blind buys for $1 or $1.50 ... so I justified it. I actually hope that Big Lots doesn't get much of anything for a month or two and there are no real bargains. But if I see a really good bargain, I will be the first to jump on it. Sometimes I think I would spend less money if I never heard of DVD Talk.

Deals at Amazon, Ebay or Half all depend on the particular items, however there are exceptions to the rules. However, I've been buying and selling on Amazon and Ebay for almost a decade and the hard facts are if you want to charge more you sell on Amazon. If you want to sell faster, you sell (for cheaper) on Ebay.

There is no set timetable for my buying. It depends on the title, availability and deal. I usually won't buy if the price isn't right, as most of us, nor am I blind buying much of anything anymore. This year i am going to try not to buy more than a few titles a month.

Of all the years I've been buying films, I've bought very little in the last 6-7 months.

Very seldom. I get lots of dvds and blu-rays on Christmas and on my birthday. I also get a dvd on Valentine's Day. Other than that, I get 10 dollars every time I mow the lawn, so it goes straight to dvds. Also, just this last spring, I helped clean our basement and garage and spent over 100 dollars on dvds. But that was a very rare exception.
