Really like that Slipcover!

Hopefully I'll get lucky and find one that isn't smashed by being put in a Security Case.

Alright, I'm in. I'd buy a bunch of 3-disc clear cases if they were available, those are cool.

Good news that the Targets near me have ditched the security cases on the regular blurays. Therefore not damaged slip this time!

All I know is that when I tried to redeem it, I went to the website and tried to follow the directions as the insert says. I had the code ready to redeem and it kept telling me to insert the disc...which, of course, my DVD-ROM drive couldn't read. The DC expired in February, so unfortunately I can't try to recreate the frustrating experience.

Incidentally, I bought the title in question the week it was released and tried to redeem the DC that night, to no avail. I e-mailed Warner about it, but I don't recall what their response was. It was something to the effect of, "You may not have met the minimum requirements for the DC."

Take a look at Target's entertainment media more closely. They frequently try to get content providers to add a red look to their store exclusives. Taylor Swift's most recent album, for instance, features her wearing a purple dress. At Target, though, they've changed it to a red dress.

I'd already explained my reasoning for being concerned about the subject, based upon my previous experience and the Blu-ray.com report that it was a single disc release. I don't mind being corrected when I've been misinformed. I do, however, have a problem with the false believe that being online negates the call for standard courtesy. You'll find this forum is far and away more enjoyable than most, and a large part of that stems from the civility typically shown by members here. I don't know who taught you that interacting with other people needn't be polite if it's online but you were misinformed.

There. Now we've corrected one another about something. Drinks all around!

I for one was never rude to you. I gave you physical evidence that it would not be a 1-disc release and you continued to complain that it might be. Blu-ray.com made a typo, happens all the time, but a scan of the back of the blu-ray is definitive proof.

I didn't complain in spite of evidence why I had once been concerned that the DC might be included on the Blu-ray Disc itself. I only cited the Blu-ray.com review to demonstrate that, based upon the information at hand--which did not include a scan of the back of the package--and my anecdotal experience with a previous DC, I felt I had sufficient reason to wonder at the arrangement for this release. The scan, of course, was the "smoking gun" in the matter and I do thank you for pointing that out to me.

The dvd looks to be a clear case, so I'd guess the blu-ray will be the same.

I can't get to a Target until Saturday. Does anyone foresee a limited supply of these?

I'd say you'll be able to find this on week 1 with no problems.

Well, this is getting confusing.

From the same blu-ray.com thread the Target version pictures came from:

Spoiler:

I was hoping that the regular version would be in a clear case too. (I prefer the clear case, but also the white cover).

Weird.

That is weird. I distinctly remember thinking how good the package looked with the glossy slipcover and the clear case. I may be remembering incorrectly as I did pick up about 50 movies that day and look at them haha.
