+1. This movie has always felt stunningly inauthentic to me, considering that it's basically an autobiography of the writer/director. I would never have believed such an amazing story could be told in such a bland way by the guy who lived it.

Words to the effect of "I don't understand why so many people get excited about this." imply an interest in being educated on the topic and aren't the same as words to the effect of "You're all a bunch of half-witted idiots for liking this horrible piece-of-crap movie!!!"

As already asked, is there a link or anything confirming this. Anyone know if Best Buy exclusives include Canada, or are they usually just a US thing? I'm really picky about what I pick up on BD, but this is definitely one title I would buy. Of course it's probably obvious otherwise I wouldn't be posting in this thread.

Okay,Coral - Let me continue by saying I will probably buy this at some point down the line. Seems like a good $9.99 title to have. I have a lot of movies that I'm sure we'd agree are really bad. But - Doctorossi hit all the main points of why I don't see this movie as appealing. Perhaps you have a different opinion as to the appeal.

If this will include both cuts and the CD bonus I'll sell my UK edition and go for this. I hope it does as I can then get rid of my DVD copy as well. I've held on to that so that I own both cuts of the film.

Great for those who dont allready have the UK release thats been out for several years, but unless it has additional content not on that UK release I wont be getting this.
Especially when you factor in the fact that they almost assuredly will not be using that great cover art the uk bd release has.

One commonly seen threadcrap is someone posting that "___________ is a crappy movie" in a thread dedicated to information about the movie's DVD release. The point of the thread isn't to discuss the quality of the movie, but to discuss the movie's DVD release.
Back on topic, I have the UK release so I won't be rebuying this unless it also includes the theatrical cut.

I'd prefer both cuts to be included, but I'll still end up getting this regardless. One of my favorite Crowe films, second only to Say Anything... (or third, if you wanna count Fast Times at Ridgemont High).
