I have the UK release and I'm not too hip on double-dips these days, however it was probably my favorite film of the decade. Picture quality will play a big factor for me. The UK disc is nice, but there is plenty of room for improvement.

DreamWorks/Paramount put out the Anchorman set which in technicality includes three versions of the movie (theatrical, unrated and Wake Up, Ron Burgundy).

In another variation, Paranormal Activity had the option to watch the film with the original theatrical ending or an alternate ending.

I love how all of the bonus material from the two-disc set make it over... except the theatrical version.

I'll still buy the set as I don't see this getting a re-release any time soon, but I'm hoping we get a Best Buy Deal of the Day shortly after its release.

Some of the additional scenes in the extended version are great but others are flat and just awkward, and should have been left out. Sooo, give us the choice!

I won't buy this (or at least currently don't think I will). I have the dvd set of the bootleg and I liked the extended, but felt the theatrical was the better film. This set would be essential with the theatrical cut included. Now, not so much.

BTW, I think that cover is hideous.

Rubbish, I far prefer the theatrical to the bloated extended cut. And really, like other releases, both cuts should be on here.

I have the UK Blu-ray and the DVD Bootleg Cut set(w/ Stillwater CD). Can't imagine buying it again unless there's a BIG improvement on picture quality. I didn't even have a problem with the UK version's transfer as some did.

I'm with you on that. OK movie, but I got the DVD because it has one of the few movie performances by Mitch Hedberg.

I will most likely buy the bestbuy exclusive when it hits a nice sale price and merge those two discs along with the uk disc and uk cover art into a 3 disc case.

In for this price! One of my all time favorites.

Love this movie...def in my top ten actually. However, I think I'm just going to stick with my bootleg DVD which looks to be the more complete package, especially considering the sub par Blu video quality.
