I, for one, am shocked that they used a matte painting instead of just parking thousands of cars on the actually interstate.

Of course I understand the pragmatism of using matte paintings, what I'm saying is I'm surprised by how awful and obviously-a-matte-painting it was.

Sometimes you just have to appreciate what was accomplished with such a limited budget and be thankful that the show exists at all. I'd hate to have my viewing options limited to big-budget major network crap.
