Depending on how much you want to spend, the Best Buy Steelbook is very obtainable on eBay. The last two sold went for just over $30 w/ shipping. The Korean steelbook just plummeted its value.

To clarify the last two you mentioned sold for $30 were Opened/USED condition and not Sealed. Thus the "very obtainable" notion only implies to preowned.

How much do these go for? I have a sealed digipack I've yet to open.

Jin-Roh the Wolf Brigade is currently going for $142.50 on ebay and the auction is still kicking.
Probably the most valuable "NON-Gimmick limited edition packaging" blu-ray out there.

Wel I dont joke, and thats why you cant figure any info or amount it was sold at.. because the said limited edition or the VERY 1st Store Exclusive / Limited Edition Blu-Ray is utmostly RARE.

I mentioned blu-ray than high definition, the very first HD exclusive/limited edition disc is South Park however HD (Red) one are now defunct.

I have dozens of those Spider-man coasters. I don't think they've ever sold for much on ebay.

Regularly, I have no idea. After randomly searching for Criterion Blu-rays on eBay, I saw that a copy fetched in the $100 range once -- which the rarity is understandable, since it's the packaging made available before the re-packaging of a disc that's been discontinued.

I have a bunch of those Spider-man and South Park discs. Doesn't look like there's a demand for them.

Re: Most limited and rarest Region A Blu-Rays

Rare does not always mean it's worth a lot of money. It could also mean that nobody wants it.

If I recall correctly, everybody was picking up multiple copies of that Spiderman disc so they could use the case for other things. If anybody buys it for more than $3, they payed $3 too much.

Re: Most limited and rarest Region A Blu-Rays

Thanks for posting about the Evil Dead limited. I've stayed away from buying blu-rays of recent to save cash, but didn't realize that edition was drying up. Luckily I just got a new copy of ebay for under $18. I would have been upset had I broken my Evil dead Limited Edition streak.

The second disc of Appaloosa is just a digital copy. It does have a slipcover. I know, because I have it in my collection.

I have the Bram Stroke's Dracula slipcover. Now that slipcover is ultra rare. It's impossible to find nowadays unless you get it on e(vil)bay.
