Yes! Blue ray!

Probably a double release with some other Carrey stinker.

If he's doing commentary, I doubt it. Brand new bonuses only to be slapped into a 2-pack?

Also, the only other Carrey movie I can think of that Sony owns is Fun With Dick and Jane.

Hoping for some deleted scenes. I imagine Ben Stiller is also on this track.

Could always be repackaged with Number 23 (or The Mask or The Majestic).

Saw this last year through VuDu...not a bad film, but probably something I'd never watch again. I know it has it's fans, though.

Those are New Line/Warner Bros. films, not Sony.

This was verified months and months ago by a tweet from Ben Stiller.

Sweet. Still, I never would've expected a Jim Carrey commentary. First commentary ever. It'd be nice to think we could get commentary on a bunch of his movies, namely The Truman Show and Eternal Sunshine...

I remember right after Ben Stiller Tweeted that, I replied to him and asked very nicely if he could somehow get Jim Carrey to do a commentary track on this. You're welcome, guys.

Nice, don't recall being a big fan of TCG but it has been years since I've seen it. I may give it a shot thanks to Carrey's commentary.

Great news! I would preorder it today if I could.

I remember when I saw this in theaters, I was laughing until I cried and the rest of the audience was like dead silent for the most part. It just really worked for me.

Love this movie, still can't believe it never got a SE after the 12 year old DVD release.

It'd be really nice to imagine the commentary is a group affair: Stiller on most of the scenes, plus Carrey, Broderick, Judd Apatow, Jack Black (and Kyle Gass), Owen Wilson, Leslie Mann, Janeane Garofalo and Andy Dick, David Cross and Bob Odenkirk, etc. Or, at least a featurette with these people, who as far as I know are still friends with Stiller.

Stiller also tweeted that there would be audition footage of the cast.

Stiller Tweeted this early this morning:

"RedHourBen

Just did the Cable Guy commentary with Jim Carrey and Judd Apatow.. Same things make me laugh 15 years later."

Awesome news.

Sounds great. I never got the DVD, but loved this movie. I'll definitely be picking up the Blu-ray release with the great sounding commentary track.

Wonder if Stiller had any say in this release, because I'd really like to see Reality Bites too.

I'll pick this up. I always thought it was a great dark comedy. Still, I'll wait until it's

I remember that Chris Farley was originally going to play Carrey's part. I don't suppose that ever got to the point where they would have footage, did it?

Man, I need to hear the complete specs for this release ASAP. Commentary, a making-of featurette, deleted scenes, auditions, and trailers, and I'll be good.
