So the specs for special features I saw for this on Blu-ray.com didn't list the commentary. That shit better change.

re: THE CABLE GUY Blu-Ray >> 3/1/11

It's a horrible, boring, totally unfunny movie so I don't want it to come out, but you know it's going to. Up until this, I didn't think that neither Matthew Broderick or Jim Carrey could make a bad movie. I was wrong. Carrey commentary....yes. Stiller commentary....yes. But Judd Apatow...hell, no. I can't stand him. He's the most overrated director I have ever heard of. He has never done anything the least bit funny. I really wanted to like The Cable Guy, but I just couldn't do it. It is so boring. Sort of like Tim Burton's commentary on Edward Scissorhands.

Well, I for one will be getting this. I love these types of commentaries and a retrospective one at that, so day 1 purchase.

Why are you comparing commentaries to movies? Reading back over this, this whole thing is kind of off and odd. Have you ever seen a Judd Apatow movie or have you just heard of him? I'm confused...

Anyways, beyond excited for this. My old crappy DVd of this still gets lots of play and this movie is quoted in everyday situations by everyone I know. I haven't heard anyone say 'juice' properly in years. I'm broke as shit, but this will be a day one purchase for me.

Not sure what the icon you chose means. It looks pretty clean and shiny, but there are a few nagging issues that keep it from being a 5-star.

Re: THE CABLE GUY Blu-Ray >> 3/1/11

WTF? Seeing the cover image I just assumed it was a re-hash release...but then the first post of this thread had that Carrey commentary Tweet. Carrey after the fact participation? I...might just have to pick this one up for that fact alone. Plus I still haven't seen it yet.
