Depends on how strict the parents are, I would not let my 12 year old watch it if I had one. Almost literally, every other word in the film is "fuck", it makes Deadwood seem like Sesame Street with profanity & there are 2 sex scenes, although no nudity. And lots of drug references. And there is also the whole thing of

Affleck's portrayed as the hero of the film, or at least the character you root for despite the fact that he is a bank robbing cop killer. Its not exactly a positive message for a kid

OK, that answers my question. Looks like we'll be watching It's a Wonderful Life.
