Grabbed one. Amazon's price of 17.99 was tempting enough. Can't wait to watch it again.

Also, wait, so, I don't get the comic book if I order from the UK? Lame.

Re: Inception- December 7th, 2010
WBShop's copies were not individually numbered, as far as I can tell.
On top of that, I picked up the SteelBook today for $32.99 - 10% - $3 coupon, and got Best Buy to pricematch Target's $17.99 price on their exclusive. Good day. |

I do have one question for you xage. Do you actually keep all the different versions after you buy them for the pics or do you end up returning any of them?

Re: Inception- December 7th, 2010
I never saw it in the theater but I'm seeing a lot of positive reviews as to the BD version, video and audio. If one was o compare say the storyline what would be best to compare with. I got a feeling of something between a Matrix meets Dark City.

Re: Inception- December 7th, 2010
Well, the copy that was inside the HMV briefcase was sealed and the barcode matched the barcode at FutureShop for the non-briefcase edition. So, I asked customer service at FS if I could swap it for the SteelBook and pay the difference. The guy was a little hesitant, since I didn't have a receipt, but did it anyway. :) Best of both worlds.
Now, if only I had that shooting script that was exclusive to Best Buy.. |

LOL. Nice.
Why did you buy it from Amazon UK though? I thought you were in the U.S. (maybe I'm wrong). |

Re: Inception- December 7th, 2010
I looked a few pages back, but I saw no insights into my question: I'm just wondering if its true that the briefcase UK version has some features that are not playable in US players, and us in North America are better off hunting down the Canada briefcase.

Re: Inception- December 7th, 2010
I've heard Inception has a terrible picture quality on DVD. Are there any screen
comparisons between BD and DVD available? |
Re: Inception- December 7th, 2010
......I'm sure the BD will always look better than the DVD for this film...just saying...

Re: Inception- December 7th, 2010
Has anyone received their briefcase set from amazon? Mine shipped last week and was hoping it would have been here by now.

I received my Inception from UK Amazon today. All the extras work on my US PS3. Only the DVD doesn't work since it's PAL (but I don't watch DVD anymore, so it doesn't matter) The missing comic from US edition is no big deal to me since it is in the extra section as motion comic. And since I got this about $10 cheaper than what I would have paid for in WBshop, I am very happy. Picture quality seems very good, but I really don't have good enough setup to really judge. But it didn't really impress me like how Sound of Music did. I guess I was expecting little too much since this was shown in IMAX. Very very happy with my purchase. (only thing that bothers me a little is that the disc art is changed from the picture that was shown earlier - it's not the character art that I was expecting and wanted, it's same as the US edition plus the ugly rating) |
Re: Inception- December 7th, 2010
Don't know if this has been posted but Inception had 65% sales from Blu-ray.
