Otherwise, unless there's more on the discs than this person was given access to, then it seems there's still so much left in the LFL archives for...what? A future release? All the DVD releases were pretty much the same, will we really be getting Blu double dips?

re: Star Wars
I thought the complete set in the US is the same packaging as the Alien set. The book style with sleeves.

re: Star Wars
That's not the US release. If you watch the video in 720p, you can see that the writing on the back of the package isn't in English. Looks like this is a German release.

re: Star Wars
Interesting character choices on the discs themselves....
No Luke, Leia, Han, Anakin? Odd. |
re: Star Wars
Best Buy's new ad is out. $89.99 for the complete set. Looks like Target has the lowest at $79.99. Hopefully Amazon will PM before next Friday.

Absolutely, we still have the Blu-ray 3D releases on the horizon after they are shown at the cinema.

re: Star Wars
The disc art doesn't bother me. It's not like these are the real OT movies anyway. ;)

re: Star Wars
I pre-ordered on Amazon back when I still had Prime in January, just got a delivery estimate saying September 20th. Anyone else with prime orders have this date even though it says release date delivery on the product page?

re: Star Wars
Interesting note I found:
AICN did a review of the Blu-Rays and noticed for all the deleted scenes, NONE of the deleted scenes from the original Prequel DVD releases are included. Another reason to keep all the DVD's of the saga. |
re: Star Wars
really now? *shaking head* Granted...I never bought the DVDs of the prequels but still...

You're really stretching the definition of "acting" with this example. He's standing still and smiling.
He's actually acting in the unmasking scene and that was left as-is |
re: Star Wars
"The blue ray versions of film may have a better screen ratio and supposed better picture but when you are watching ANY movie on your home tv YOU ARE STILL NOT GOING TO GET the "ORIGINAL" version you saw at the movie theater, unless your tv is the size of a theater."
--Some dude from another board I'm on, explaining how, even if George were to release the originals on Blu-ray, they would still be altered from their theatrical versions |
re: Star Wars
sounds like a fellow not in know of such things.

re: Star Wars
I wouldn't trust someone that spelled blu-ray, blue ray.
