is the quality on par with other SteelBooks/Ironpaks? how many discs does it hold? also, is the normal combo release 4-discs or 3? some sites say 3, some say 4.

It's designed to hold 3 discs, if I remember correctly. It seemed just as good as any other Steelbook or IronPack I've seen, although obviously you'll want to inspect before buying to make sure careless employees or guests haven't dinged them up.

They are extremely similar, but to some Steelbook is the gold standard of collectable cases. People prefer them because they are considered the original. The metal for IronPacks feels thinner and not as strong IMO. IronPacks is better then nothing though. I'm still likely going to buy Beauty & The Beast and Toy Story 3 in IronPack. Works differently in Canada though, it comes with the discs inside.

Future Shop is going to have Beauty & The Beast and Toy Story 3, along with some they are saying are "Canadian Exclusive". Alice in Wonderland, Toy Story, Toy Story 2, and Princess & The Frog. At first they claimed Toy Story 3 was a Canadian exclusive and Beauty & The Beast was the only one coming to Best Buy in the USA so I guess we shall see. I could see Best Buy dumping these 4 all in one week like they did the 12 from last year.

That might be their loophole: the one with the discs in it is a Canadian exclusive, the separate IronPack is a US thing.

I saw the Ironpack in my Best Buy today. I don't know.....I'm torn as to whether or not to get this. I like Steelbooks and Ironpacks in general, but I'm not wild about this one. The artwork is a little blah, and it will look so different next to my TS 1 and 2 spines.....ugh, life.

i'm not sure if sights are just reporting 4 discs (including the DVD and digital as separate) or if the DVD/DC is actually 1 disc and thus 2 Blu-ray discs, making 3 total.

The IronPack case is 3 discs, but the Toy Story 3 combo pack release will be 4 discs.

If you are going to buy it, then what difference does it make? It'll probably be $24.99 at Best Buy. You pay $7.50 of it now, and then use the inevitable $10 coupon and get it for a great price. Plus you get the Iron Pack. Why not?

Saw at Walmart today that there is an exclusive TS3 blu-ray w/ Tokyo Mater included... does that mean the short or a toy? The display didnt really say either way.

Actually, the spine isn't like a Steelbook. The spine of the "Toy Story 3" Ironpack is like that of other recent Disney releases at Best Buy. The spine is steel, whereas Steelbook spines are plastic.

However, it's not like the "Iron Man 2" Ironpack, which is thicker and has a completely different hinge/spine design.

Well, that seals the deal for the regular packaging for me. I was thinking of going this route anyway, since I have the regular packaging for 1 and 2. If It had waited till now I might have opted to pick up the steelbook releases for all 3.

Will put on the 1st day, then wrap it and put it under the Christmas Tree. It will be a present from my family to myself.

Well, to be fair, one of the discs is just a timed digital copy, essentially a disposable disc; download it to your PC/media player and toss the disc.

I will not be wasting my money on this crap. The first two are amazing, but this third one is just absolute trash. The ending was the most depressed that I've been in a long time. It was so stupid.
