Why not just buy the current unrated BD?

Argh. I guess that summary is identical to the one on the DVD Trilogy and Wal-Mart probably just re-used it. No longer expecting this to have extras and therefore not as interested.

Yeah, RoboCop 2 is funny. RoboCop 3 makes me feel like my head is gonna explode, Scanners-style.

I always loved the first one. When I saw the second one it just felt wrong. To me, the second one got all the elements wrong. It was a MASSIVE disappointment for me. By the time the third one rolled around I was ready for the worst. And, in my opinion, if the third one lost a few of the ridiculous things in it (like the robots) and had a few elements to bring it back to the original (like the violence) it wouldn't be that bad. But that's me. I just can't watch the second one without cringing.

How is the trilogy packaged? Three individual, normal-sized cases?

I don't know if anyone has it yet...

I saw it at Best Buy today, but didn't think to check the packaging. I'll make a note of it if I go back this week.

I believe someone on the AVS forum said it was a standard sized 3 disc case in a slipcase.

The picture I saw on another forum was just 3 bluray cases in a box, and the first movie was just the old bluray. The cases for the second and third movie don't match the first one, so that's going to bother some people.

Nice to see the confirmation that the first one is just a re-release. Now I can hold off. I kind of want RoboCop 2 but I'll wait for it to be released separately either here or abroad.
