Summit will release Letters to Juliet in a stupid move it will be a BR/DVD flipper. I will have to buy my wife the new Twilight from this studio so they better not make this a habit. I don't own any flippers on BR and I don't want too

We would probably have purchased this, but it certainly wasn't going to be a high priority and this news means no sale.

Eclipse will no doubt be a 'Flipper' when it arrives. It'll be the biggest title using the 'Flipper' format for likely the entire year (and probably one of the biggest films on BD/DVD regardless). I'll be renting Letters...but will buy Eclipse. Nothing we can really do as this is the way studios see to make more money (offer 'Flippers' or DVD copies inside of BD so they can sell more copies to retailers to stock - trojan horse the Blu-ray format into homes yet again).
