Paid $16 for the 3 disc from Wal-Mart and sold the DVD/DC for $10 on eBay. Iron Man 2 for $6..not bad

I'd guess that the dvd that came with the blu-ray is the same as the single disc dvd.
It's just the Movie and the Digital Copy (no Special Features). I didn't check the size though before I shipped it out.

Re: "Iron Man 2" - 9/28

Anyone else disappointed that they didn't include the Thor and Captain America comic-con footage on the blu-ray? I did however really like the little 5 minute making of the Thor scene at the end of the making-of doc.

Well they were rumored to be put on there. But so far no ones found them.

If you watch the making of documentary (have to click play all) after the credits there is like a 5 minute clip of them filming the hammer scene at the end of IM2. No new footage or anything.

I haven't found anything else (other than the generic info in Howard Stark's footlocker on Disc 1)

Re: "Iron Man 2" - 9/28

Going through disc 1, there are three security films hosted by Howard Stark hidden in the dossier section of the S.H.I.E.L.D. vault. "Arctic Heat Chamber," "Vapor 531," and "Proton Extractor" are in the files for Howard Stark, The Ten Rings, and Steve Rogers. Not too substantial, but more John Slattery is always good. Haven't gone through disc 2 yet.

Re: "Iron Man 2" - 9/28

I got around to opening my IM2 Metalpack today and I was shocked that it was actually in perfect condition. Of course, taking off the security sticker was so hard, I left a bunch of scratch marks on the plastic. But I guess I should consider myself lucky after all the reports of dented or broken cases.

You should buy a bottle of Goo Gone to have around for just such occasions.

I don't usually have trouble removing stickers, but this was the sticker from hell. We fought for almost an hour.

Also, are these companies using cheaper plastic for their cases? I barely used any force and left a bunch of scratch marks all over the clear plastic.

Re: "Iron Man 2" - 9/28

picked up one yesterday, opened it today, the top hinge on the spine is snapped of and both hinges holding the 2 discs inside are both snapped off.
they only had 3 left yesterday and I won't get time to get there 'till sunday.

I guess there's no replacement possibilities through Paramount?

If there exist any Easter Eggs and someone can post them, it would be much appreciated..

How will you open it?
Aren't they locked when it closes?

Re: "Iron Man 2" - 9/28

On the Target exclusive metalpack, does the back "pop" in and out a bit on all of them? I noticed it on mine right when I opened it. Still, it's in much better shape than most of them I saw. Between those plastic cases or the stupid wire things some stores put around them, these cases really took a beating in the store!

A better question would be: Would he want to open it?

Re: "Iron Man 2" - 9/28

I'm sure he has a set of repulsor rays from another promotion that would allow him to open it

then again he may have those locked up in a vault somewhere

Despite how crazy that is, you seem to be aware of it and still share. So props to you, man!
