Seems Paramount is taking a page out of Warner's playbook.

Crap! I pick up the metalcase at my Target and the plastic hinges holding the two disc broke off. Thought of bringing back tomorrow but I'm pretty sure it be sold out. Not happy with Paramount using cheap plastic.

Anyone found 'Thor and Captain America' easter eggs in "S.H.I.E.L.D. Data Vault?" Can anyone help me finding me these easter eggs?

Marvel lied. It's not on there.

If you really want I can post a scan of the receipt, however, my purchase was only at best buy not target, I did not try to go as bold as getting the steelbook version.

I went to Target yesterday to check it out in person and I have to say I was really disappointed with it. The metal seemed really flimsy, the lenticular cover, while cool, was just glued to the cover, the hinges looked pretty weak (it seemed like just the average wear and tear would break them), and the spine design was totally awkward with the title appearing off center.

After looking at it I decided to hold off til next week and just pick it up at Best Buy. It'll match my IM 1 Blu-ray better anyway.

At least a DVD of the movie I might actually use at some point though. Its better than when studios were just including a digital copy. I guess I don't really expect all the extras to be there after all that is why i picked up the Blu-ray. They probably figure these come in useful for people who travel or bring them to a friends house to watch and just want to watch the movie and don't care to watch the extras.

Oh yeah, I know. Just was saying that Warner was the first to do this and now Paramount is doing it as well.

I just want to know why people price matched the target exclusive with a sale ad from a different store for a different version

Is the A/V quality on the DVD included with the Blu-Ray as good as the A/V quality on the standalone single disc release?

Re: "Iron Man 2" - 9/28

I was on the fence about getting the ironpak, but I stopped in the 1 Target in my area that doesn't use the security cases. They had 8 on the floor. All appeared to be dent free. I got 7114. They had a few under 10,000 and some over 20,000. The one I got was in perfect condition and all discs were intact. I scanned my copy and it said they had more in the back.

Re: "Iron Man 2" - 9/28

To my amazement, my Sony BDP-S360 player had a firmware update. I think it's only had 2 previous since it was launched in way back in March 2009. I'm wondering if it's for Iron Man 2. I thought there were LG owners having trouble with it yesterday.

Picked up mine at Target. I wasn't planning to get it, but my collector mind overpowered me. I got #1990!

I have the single disc dvd and its size is 6.92 GB.

I'd guess that the dvd that came with the blu-ray is the same as the single disc dvd.

on disc 2 during the first bonus feature (if you run them all for a total of 90 minutes) there is a brief making of Thor after the credits.

Got the single-disc, the PQ and AQ are top-notch and the movie is a blast.

The 3-discer showed up in my Gold Box for $18.99, so I tapped that.

I got my $5 promo certificate too.

Did the price actually drop on Tuesday or was their a sh*t storm that hit their customer service. I checked the price a few times during Tuesday and did not see a price drop. So I am guessing it was the latter. Anyway to Amazon.

It was probably the crap they took, whenever the price drops on something I preorder, they just credit my credit card, not give a promo certificate.
