Well, I guess I'll wait 'til 10/03 for this.

Target price matched the 24.99 price for me when i picked up the metalpack caseing, I tried to get them match the 22.99 price but they said that because it was timed sale they wouldnt match it. but would match the 24.99 price and they didnt even bat a eye even with the metal pack being a exclusive only to target. ( i had a feeling it would not be a issue seeing how other stores have had no problems with price matching their special packageing exclusives.) I also had a 10.00 off target coupon good for any item in the store that i recieved in the mail a few weeks back, so i was out the door for 14.99 plus tax

I also asked if i could price match it again on sunday cause the bestbuy price is reported to go be 19.99 for the 3 disc and she said yeah that as long as its within 7 days they will match the price again.
so just put it out there its probably YMMV, but atleast one target is willing to price match it.

I didn't even think of price matching, since I paid full, I doubt Target will price match now since I opened it.

Because you're not returning it. You're just getting some money back because it's cheaper now than when you bought it. Technically all you need's the receipt and the ad.

thing is I got the exclusive, there is no different price for that but a poster above me got it price matched there for what walmart has it for minus the exclusiveness.

r u sure it's missing and not just in the middle holder in back of disc 1? it does seem kinda hidden there.

its not there. The dvd copy is on the back cover holder and the leaf in the middle has one disk on it. No disk 2. This is going to be a bitch to replace because BB is not going to believe me.

oh, sorry then. i think if you are just doing an even exchange it shouldn't be a problem or they can open another and give you the disc. i mean it is not the actual movie on either of the formats.

They wont give you a hard time about it, this thing happens more than you might believe just take it back and they should exchange it no problems.

I have had quite a few times where i have been missing a disc and they just do a exchange, and open it up to make sure you have everything in the repalcement

So is the Target iron-pack, steel-pack, whatever - is it as lame in person as it looks to be in pictures?

it really depends if you like that packaging or just want a different case than norm for the same price as regular with pm. it is the same as any other Blu-ray SteelBook™ release (as near as i can tell), just has a lenticular card on front which most don't.

Couldn;t go until after work, sold out at Target. Guess I have to get it from the website.

It was a real pain taking that white security sticker off the inside of the Metalpak finally got all the sticker and gunk off.

I couldn't decide which version was better so I ended up picking up both.

The metal-pack has the better artwork. The lenticular cover, the hall of armor inside, and the back cover all rock. The regualr version's artwork is fairly standard and nothing special.

However, the spine on the metal-pack is actually worse than it looks in pictures. The Marvel and Iron-Man logos are off-center and are slightly covered by the front panel (they overlap). Also, the lenticular sticker is fairly thick and sticks out quite a bit more than the blu-ray band at the top. Finally, the front and back panels do not align perfectly.

On a side note, my copy had one of those security "strings" warpped around it pretty tightly. So my copy has a slight indentation on all four sides. Thanks alot assholes!

Someone on blu-ray.com got #1 out of 30,000 for the IM2 Metal pack.

It did work, although I had a good excuse to give to get it at that price a week early. I am going on vacation Friday and will not be back in the country until the 11th. I brought the disc to customer service and asked for a manager, I showed the manager the ad on my phone and explained that I will be out of town for the following week and I could show her the confirmation for my airline tickets. She took a look at my email from the airline and then said no problem and gave me the movie at $19.99

the DVD part of the DVD/Digital Copy disc is literally JUST the movie. I thought it would at least have the commentary that the regular single disc DVD release had. Oh well.

care to post a scan of your reciept, sorry but based on targets policy of needing a actual copy of the ad in your hands at the time of the price match and that your talking about a sale that hasnt even happened yet, i have a hard time believeing this.
