Question about blank blu ray cases.

Does anyone know if anyone is producing blank blu ray cases that don't come with the inch high blue border at the top that displays the blu ray logo, and also in another color like clear or black?

I'm just starting my blu ray collection, and I must admit, I really don't like the blue cases. I know criterion makes clear cases without the border on top, but it was my understanding that criterion blu ray and regular blu rays have different sized inserts? Is this the case?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

If it wasn't blue then it would no longer be a blu-ray case now would it? Actually with the marketing revolving around blue, I doubt you'll find much in the way of other cases. You're just looking for a SD case but the size of the HD cases. With everyone trying to differentiate themselves from SD I doubt you'll even find anyone putting out a "blu-ray" case that doesn't have the BD logo up top.

Well, since the cases are transparent, there is a little plastic wall on the inside of a Blu-Ray case right at the bottom of that strip, because anything that poked up into there (like a booklet) would make the logo less visible. The Criterion BD cases are the same size in height but there is no strip, so any booklet will actually go from the top of the case to the bottom.

Criterion sells its cases online but they are quite expensive. It's $5 for each one if I remember correctly.

Use DVD cases. Of course, just about all blu ray covers are designed and sized for the standard blu ray cases. Is there any particular reason why you hate the cases so much? Here's some alternatives.

You can use HD-DVD cases which are red or PS3 cases which are clear. I see those all the time on Ebay.

I found some on ebay, the only difference is the blu-ray lettering doesn't have silver paint.
