I saw pictures of the tin set and man, does it look sweet! Why can't this be released in USA?

Sadly, cool box sets like these are becoming a rarity in the USA these days.

I finally received my tin after almost a month of waiting and it was well worth the wait. I'm a huge fan of the series so I loved all the extras they managed to fit in the set.

Got my normal version from Amazon UK today. 7 days to get to the US. The envelope they put it in looked great, but the set is crushed.

Hopefully they are good with returns.

I've only had one experience with returns from Amazon UK. I ordered the Phantasm sphere and it came pretty well crushed (the packaging is terrible.) After a couple e-mails back and forth with a specific person, he said it would be too much to send it back to the UK, so he said keep the set I had and they will send a new one. I received a replacement shortly after. Most of all my other purchases were "normal" DVDs/Blu-Rays.

Actually he said I could go ahead and "throw away" the set that was crushed while they shipped a new one. Yeah right.

Just got my free US copy from my AMC screening 3 weeks ago... came in the mail this afternoon

Picked this up recently and had a great trip down memory lane with these movies.

But what kind of a jackass came up with the packaging? I actually broke one of the plastic "springs" and it's actually a chore (and rather frightening) to take out and put away each disc. I really need to get some replacement cases and print out some custome covers.

Back to the Future is $34.49 on Amazon, I hope the price stays up on Friday so I can order it!

The UK Limited Edition Tin set is in stock again at Amazon UK. It will be available on 11/29.

I certainly don't HAVE to get this again and I shouldn't spend the money at this moment but for that price I had to go ahead and get it.

Damnit!!! I gave up on trying to get the tin and now come back and read this. So, I guess they were taking orders for it last week and they plan on fulfilling them on 11/29? Or is it going to be available for purchase on 11/29? I just went to Amazon UK to try and order it and it doesn't show available.

On the DVD's? No, only on the Blu-rays. The DVD's are digital copy only.

Got my US set today, and the packaging is terrible. Going to put these in some spare cases next time I take them out.

so only the 3 Blu-ray discs have the extras, nothing at all except dc's on the other 3? thanks tres.

I received my copy last night from the Amazon lightening deal.

I put the digital copies into iTunes on my iMac and then tossed the discs right into the trash. It makes getting the actual Blu-ray discs out of the awful packaging easier.

i took the 3 BDs and put them in my UK SteelBook™. fits perfectly.

what a mess of packaging. any set that comes with directions to both take the discs out and put them back in deserves to go in the circular file.
