I know that when they show Part II on the HD channels, it is gone. I hope it is on the Blu-ray versions. < Off Topic Alert > Part II doesn't always bring up good memories for me... I was working at a movie theater at the time and I was elected to change the marquees outside. I had to use was the stupid suction cup pole and because it was below freezing, the letters would not stick to the pole. I cracked about 4 or 5 letters trying to get them to suction. FINALLY after a few hours, the manager let me take a break and sent me and two girls to go get hot chocolate. Somehow, we ended up back at one of the girl's house and as we drank our hot chocolate, they both kept telling me how much they wanted to "take advantage of me" but couldn't because I was only 16 (they were 18). Being the stupid naive kid I was, I didn't press the issue or make a move on either of them. So Kris and Stacy... if you are reading this... sorry I was so stupid and didn't pick up on your hints. I'd be telling a MUCH BETTER story right now if I had. :( |

I really like the fact that they're doing new interviews. Looks like they are really putting effort into this release and not just releasing with the same old extras and subpar PQ *cough*LOTR*cough*. :)

Gizmo, I have never laughed so hard while hating someone so much in all my life.
For that, I thank you. Also, the BTTF is all my time favorite trilogy as well. The trilogy as a whole has gotten more spins in my DVD player than anything else I own. |

Back to the Future videogames are being released this winter, I wouldn't be surprised if they released the trilogy on Blu Ray at the same time.
|
re: "Back To The Future" on Blu! (10-26-2010)
Oct/Nov release is very likely. We will know next week anyway as they will probably announce the date when they show the game at E3. Or they might just wait to see what Paramount does with Indy...as it wouldn't be wise to release a hit 80's Trilogy the same week.

Honestly, I disagree. They wouldn't have made four DTV sequels if Bring It On wasn't one of their most consistent, popular catalog titles.

re: "Back To The Future" on Blu! (10-26-2010)
I think with the games they should do what they did with Ghostbusters and make a "sequel" through a video game. Since BTTF4 is never going to happen see if they can get all the actors together and make a video game sequel. How awesome would that be??

From Bob Gale--
"I’m sure fans will enjoy the new documentaries, which include interviews with cast and crew members who — for budgetary reasons — were left out of the 2002 documentaries…So there are some stories and anecdotes told on camera for the first time. And since everyone wants to know, there are three very brief snippets of Eric Stoltz incorporated into one of the documentaries." http://www.slashfilm.com/2010/06/28/...tober-26-2010/ There ya go! |
re: "Back To The Future" on Blu! (10-26-2010)
I really hope that Bob Gale quote about the great transfer without DNR is accurate - with Universal it's a real crapshoot. Either way I'm pretty damn excited for this one. Getting it day 1 for sure.
