Re: The last Blu-ray you bought (Round 3)
anyone have this edition? i figured it would be comparable in aud/vis quality to the new US version, but this one has some short interviews which sound interesting where as new US release just has commentary, which i never listen to anyway and theatrical cut as well, so UK is a lot cheaper too, a couple short interviews (15m or so with Park) over a commentary and no interviews and more expensive. no brainer, right?

Bought Captain Marvel on June 11th, been hanging onto it in case Target pulls an Aquaman on us (put it on sale for $15 shortly after its release). Probably won't but can't hurt to wait a little bit...

- over the last few days. mostly from the B&N sale, along with a couple of things from Amazon UK that were lost in transit and had to be replaced.
I think I popped for the higher shipping charge w/ tracking originally. I gave them two weeks past the due date and then contacted Amazon which had the replacements to me in three days via DHL.
The extra couple pounds for tracked shipping was definitely worth it.

Picked up The Matrix Digibook (Like New) for $2 and Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome (BD+DVD+DC+UV, Brand New) for $3 at a flea market today.

Looks like the supply of the steelbook could be drying up, so I went ahead and grabbed one at the $40 price point while I still could.

[for size]
Spoiler:
CotCP should be the last of the B&N orders to come in for a while. A few other titles were far in advance pre-orders.
I'm wishing now I went full on, balls to the wall, with that sale. was trying exercise some restraint for the coming Kino and Criterion sales. The smarter money, and rarer deals, were in the 40% sale.
Never seen Mafu Cage. The price was excessive, but as a blind buy it hits most of my trigger nerves- late 70's production; quality cast; outre, exploitive thematic treated as "A" material. It also had a low edition size and what seemed to be a rabid fan base. It's like one of the rare Vinegar-syndrome titles I actually want to see.
I figured given the enthusiasm displayed in advance of it's release, it would sell out quick. Now I see those same rabid fans balking at the couple $ more premium compared to similar releases. Feh. Still looking forward to checking it out.

Yesterday which was Monday I was out of town all day where I went to the comic book shop, Barnes and Noble, Menards to get a new lawnmower and then Walmart.
The only movie I bought while I was at Walmart is Annabelle Creation for Blu ray which was on sale for 9 bucks

you congratulating me about the new lawnmower? Yeah I needed a new one anyway since my other one ive had for about 3 or 4 years and it was pretty good but it crapped out on me.
139 bucks worth spent on the lawnmower yesterday which I am glad I have a newer lawnmower. Grass is getting insanely tall outside.need to do some mowing anyway before July 4th
