The reviews looked just too good for one of my favorite movies to not upgrade. This makes it a five-peat purchase, starting with the original DVD.

No matter what else drops from now to December 31, this will be one of the top three releases of the year for me. Not real crazy about the T&O color grading, but in every other regard I expect this to be a monumental upgrade over the ancient PAL DVD I've been stuck with the last fifteen years.

Misery. Surprisingly I found the recent Scream Factory release at Walmart of all places and for only $12.96. I couldn’t pass it up.

Got this early, and I've already rewatched half of it, can't wait to rewatch it yet again -gonna be one of the very few releases I buy this year...

Went to a flea market last Friday, picked up Face/Off, Helix: Season 1, and Exodus: Gods and Kings: Deluxe Edition.

After hearing everyone's reviews, last night I broke down and bought Saving Private Ryan (4k.)

Two orders, 12 discs total, two busted cases. One of them is an Arrow, which is extremely frustrating because I rarely have any of those to swap out.

Grrrrrrrr.

^Where did you get the Dragnet BR? I wasn't aware it was released, just looked on Amazon and it didn't come up. I met Alexandra Paul who played the Virgin Connie Swail back in the 90's at a charity event. I drove her when I had my limousine service. She signed my VHS copy of the movie, which is one of the few VHS tapes I kept in spite of not having a player.

It's on Amazon. Just not our Amazon.

Re: The last Blu-ray you bought (Round 3)

Amazon Amazon

It's a UK disc- but I think it's Region B locked. I'll try to check tonight.
Right now the Bd is pretty cheap- should be under £10 shipped to the US. I usually put together about 4 or 5 titles to leverage shipping costs.

If you aren't Region Free already, this e-tailer has some kits available for most of the makes and models out there. I've used them several times before and they are a legit outfit with good pricing.

Paul made for a fine Virgin Connie Swail.
I have extremely fond memories of seeing this at the theater with friends while under the influence of certain chemicals. I was the only one among the group that had been a fan of the Webb TV series, so I got ALL the jokes that sailed right over everyone else's head. I also have vivid memories of watching as horns literally sprouted of Chris Plummers head

Looking forward to seeing this again, and seeing if it holds up under more sober circumstances.

oops, Adam got it while I was writing this up-
