I don't have True Detective on BD yet, so I've been thinking about picking it up. 35$ for the first season isn't bad at all, that's around where the HBO set is hovering.

Geezus, those are awesome looking. I have a preorder in for the Shaun of the Dead one, but yeah...wow. That Pan's Labyrinth one really looks good.
For me this week I picked up,
Sandlot, Wizards (I already own the Eureka release, but at $5 for a digibook, this was too good to pass up), and Book of Life.
Right now, I'm trying to figure out how to get F/X which released this week at a reasonable price.

Personally I like the UK Steelbook for Pan as it uses some alternate Drew Struzan art (that isn't another boring head collage for a change).
It's also supposed to have a slightly superior encode to the US release. It's locked to R:B though.
Put in an order today for
and then picked up this from B&N

I'll never be without one again- and hopefully it will always be an Oppo. I upgraded my projector last year. And while I'm extremely happy and satisfied with that new one, the region modded Oppo that I picked up a few months earlier was- hands down- the best HT tweak I could have ever made.
And yeah, that was a great price- and even cheaper when you deduct the VAT. The averaged out cost for each title after shipping and conversion came to $16.

Target is also getting Shaun of the Dead and John Carpenter's The Thing on the same day as Flash Gordon (July 28). I went ahead and put SOTD on preorder but not Thing since I already own the US BD and I've been told that the UK release is better.

Torchur, I would love to see a pic of your shelves or however else you store your collection.
As daunting as the money outlay must be, what I really can't wrap my head around is how much space all these must take up.
