The Possession of Michael King

Ignore the generic name, this is actually one of the more frightening Hollywood films released in several years. Creepy visuals made for true horror fans. Watch it late at night with the lights turned off and on a good surround system.

This one is just ok. It could have been much better. The Blu-ray is outrageously loud.

I think the piercing sound design with massive dynamic range was intentional. I will agree listeners should look out if you play your system at reference volume levels.

I bought a new bluray for the first time in ages - I couldn't find a used copy of the Wolverine extended set that wasn't trashed so I paid $30 for a new copy at Meijer since it was safely in one of those plastic cases.

So that's how Anthony Perkins really died. Damn you, Bub!

I was disappointed by Psycho III too, but it wasn't worth shooting the guy over.

Picked this up yesterday at Best Buy for about $36.49 after the 15% discount.

Sold the UV code for $8, so out of pocket cost ended up $28.49

I have about 10 episodes to watch to get caught up for season 2 next month.

Cabin Fever: Patient Zero starring Sean Astin as the only recognizable cast member. Apparently he's a hot commodity at the moment with his turn on The Strain.

Re: The last Blu-ray you bought (Round 3)

Finally. I was starting to wonder when I'd actually hold this damn thing in my hands. Other people were getting shipping notifications, but I kept expecting to get an e-mail saying, "Sorry, we didn't actually have it in stock, here's a refund," which has happened before. Now I won't have to worry when it goes out of print for the 47th time.
