wonder what features it'll have. I've pre-ordered it for a while but I MAY just wait depending on what features it has and it's actual quality for Visual/Audio.

Saw it in the theaters... great thriller. I hope they do something different with the subtitles, though. The print I saw had white knockout subs that disappeared into bright scenes.

The original/non-english title 'The Men Who Hate Women' is much more apt for the plot.

This was the US Theatrical poster image, btw. I am certain you'd not appreciate a new floating head cover.

I, personally, am glad they didn't use that title. Would have turned a lot of people off (and away). I think the U.S. title is more mysterious.

And thanks gryffinmaster for the price drop heads up. Just pre-ordered. And it'll drop to $19.99 by the time it ships of course.

I think it's cuz we here in America may just read a headline and not know wtf it's actualy about but we love to get a kneejerk reaction to freak out about shit only to later act like we're educated w/ an opinion to argue for.

I think there's 3 sentences in there but....fuck it. I like the newer title, it is actually more mysterious but...I respect the original title as well. In a perfect world...I'd prefer the original. But I'm very cool w/ the new one too.

Bump. Reminder that this might not actually be in stores due to the distribution by a smaller label, so you may want to place an order at the e-tailer of your choosing. DVD Empire's currently the lowest at $20.99 (free shipping w/ $25 purchase). But maybe we'll see some deals for it in the retailer circulars to come.

Very excited about this.

When I read the book, I always pictured Lisbeth looking like Abby from NCIS. Looking forward to this one because the book is outstanding and I've yet to hear a bad review of the movie.

$16.99 shipped at FamilyVideo.com with no tax and $1.99 shipping for unlimited items. I've bought a bunch of stuff there over the years.

They often have very good prices for fringe blu-rays if you pre-order. All the upcoming Corman blus are $17.99.

Actually, it's $18.98 shipped. Still, that's the best price online for it. Order placed!

I've never heard of the movie or books until I read Ellen Page might star in the remake. Will have to rent this.

Uhmmm, did you actually read the book? Or are you just stating that because of how popular it has become? How on earth do you get this from the book? That is like saying "I read the book, I always pictured Blomkvist looking like Michael Clarke Duncan from the Green Mile".

I watched about half of it and decided against it. It just wasn't an enjoyable flick for me, just too disturbing to want to rewatch it. (and finish it the first time)

Thats the Alliance/Canada release, maybe the US will be different? I don't know, I don't usually pay attention to other regions.
