Damn. I've owned the Criterion 8 1/2 DVD for years and have still never watched it (never seen the movie, it was a blind buy). Now the BD is coming out. What a waste of money. I've stopped buying DVD's/BD's because my habit is to buy, stick it on the shelf, and watch stuff I rent. The stuff I buy almost never gets watched.
So, I'll rent Moon, and probably the BD of 8 1/2 because if there's a BD of a movie out I can't bring myself to watch it in standard def.

I'm not buying any of those right away but have The Hurt Locker, Moon, and 8 1/2 at the top of my Netflix queue.
