There should be a target exclusive sticker on there, if not there is no way to tell, even with the sticker its a crapshoot. when i went there the other day i had to return to the store cause even though mine had the target exclusive sticker on there, it didint have the DISCOVERY channel disc. it took them opening 4 additional copies that claimed to have it inside. to find one that actually had it inside.

As they regularly do, Target really screws up with their exclusive releases.
The 4 disc version will weigh slightly more obviously, but few can really feel the difference I imagine.

I know what you mean KC. My Target slipcover is in perfect condition. Those security cases are a slipcovers nightmare. Before I purchase a blu-ray with slipcover from Target, I always inspect the slip.

Never found any copies with slipcovers and it was hard to judge their weight in those heavy plastic cases. Took a risk on a copy that looked like it had been re-shrink wrapped. Just got around to opening it. Success!!
So, you might try looking for copies that don't have perfectly sealed shrinks. It's a method that also worked for Inglourious Basturds.

Did anyone else notice that the image quality on the 2012 blu-ray looks the same as DVD video quality? This is definitely my first blu-ray that did not have impressive video quality.

Sure you didn't get a DVD? All comments and reviews I've seen (and from my personal experience) have stated that while the movie's content isn't the greatesst, the video/audio presentation was impressive.

Yeah, that's funny, cuz I took it out and was double-checking if it said DVD or Blu-ray on the Blu-ray. I looked at it very closely, but it certainly was the offical Blu-ray! Maybe it's just how it looks on my player...

Amazon has the following warning up for the 2-disc version of this movie:
Since they are still selling the 1-disc version, the quality of the movie itself is probably not the problem. Does anyone know what's wrong with the 2-disc set?
