There is supposedly alot of footage out there that was cut in order to trim it down to size which IMHO ruined it for alot of people.

There's even an online petition to get this released on blu-ray (only 142 signatures:()

There really needs to be a Director's Cut of The Keep, restoring all the footage that was cut. The book is phenominal, I'd like to see how the full/uncut movie would turn out.

Ian McKellen
Scott Glenn
Jürgen Prochnow
Gabriel Byrne
Music by Tangerine Dream

Alot of good names in this movie.

Music rights concerning Tangerine Dream is what kept this from DVD release.

Ravenous just announced for June. Not a CE, but it will have new extras.

Awesome, I can finally get rid of the non-anamorphic DVD.

I'd be careful, there is a good chance that Shout can't license every single extra feature from the DVD. It had two separate commentaries.

So excited about Ravenous!

Going to keep my DVD until the specs for the BD drop.

Great news, it has been a long time since I was able to watch the non-anamorphic version.

Thanks for the plug!

Witchboard, alas, is less of a winner.

I hope they get Antonia Bird's commentary, it's not like she can do another one.

Yeah not a big Lake Placid fan either. It had it's moments for a cheesy movie but meh. Nothing I'd want to own. I'm mostly excited for Sleepaway Camp and Slumber Party Massacre.

Lake Placid should have gone to Twilight Time.

I'm a big fan of LAKE PLACID. I love wilderness films, and this one has a fairly witty script to boot.

**EXTRA-EXCITING SURPRISE TITLE ANNOUNCEMENT!**

Our 2014 "Summer of Fear" release schedule is about to get even better with the following title reveal--one which we're sure will please so many of you that have requested it. The long-lost 1983 slasher film THE FINAL TERROR is coming to Blu-ray & DVD for the first time ever!

As some of you already know, this killer-in-the-woods entry stars an eclectic group of stars including Rachel Ward (The Thorn Birds, Night School), Daryl Hannah (Splash, Blade Runner), Adrian Zmed (Grease 2, Bachelor Party, TJ Hooker) and Joe Pantoliano (The Sopranos).

We're aiming for a July release.

There was a dvd release of The Final Terror, back in 2005. The quality was terrible though.

I keep hoping Shout will give us the surprise announcement of Cohen's IT'S ALIVE trilogy. Another long-lost wish is the excellent 1983 sci-fi opus WAVELENGTH... That score by Tangerine Dream is haunting. A DVD was announced years ago, but canceled for unknown reasons.

Never seen THE FINAL TERROR.

Does WB license anything to third parties?

Good point, I don't think they do.

AGREED!
I remember renting Wavelength on BETA!

The Battery could've used a trim of a good 15-20 min, but there were some interesting concepts in there. Hopefully I get sent a copy because I'd like to see it again.
