So word is that Big Trouble In Little China is a just a fancy re-release and not a remaster. Welps that's not good.

The Arrow release from a few years ago is not a remaster either. Maybe Fox won't let them do a remaster. Apparently, The Fly (86) is the same transfer in the upcoming Fly box set.

Did it need a remaster? The previous Fox Blu-ray already had an excellent transfer.

Extras are still TBD. But I did see a blurb saying there are new interviews with cast and crew along with the vintage stuff from the old FOX release.

Here's the box set artwork for The Fly collection

No interviews? Seems odd since they recorded a new interview with Carpenter for Vampires...

When are these guys going to have a decent sale? Lots of titles I would buy at reasonable prices. I refuse to shell out even $20 for Creepshow let alone over $30. It's been out for a while. How about a price break. And I don't mean a lousy 10-15%. I'll gladly live with my old DVD if they don't drop the price.

There are sales elsewhere. I was able to get Creepshow from familyvideo.com back in May for $19.99 + tax + free shipping.

I'm not sure Family Video will be around much longer from reports.

Fuck, why did Shout’s Vampires have so much better extras than Uk? I had to get it. New interview with James Woods would have had me alone, but so much better than Indicator...

Great fucking review...bluray.com

Anyone want my Indicator Series from UK?

Agreed, the new interview with James Woods is pure gold. Since his career in Hollywood is over, he doesn't hold anything back anymore.

I'm watching the James Woods interview right now. I love Vampires so much and love Jack Crow as there is just a nastiness to his character that James Woods brings it out so well. The overly sensitive PC crowd would hate this movie.

Since this has the same print from the Twilight Time release I'll stick to that. I don't give a shit what Woods has to say. I may have given a shit once upon a time when he wasn't a racist prick (and creepy sexual predator). I'm a John Carpenter fan first and foremost.

Saw a listing for Very Bad Things, part of the Shout Select line.

I think the movie is terrible, but I’m still fascinated by it. Have yet to see a third time...

That listing for Very Bad Things is January 28, 2020. I'm excited to buy it even though I've watched it countless times digitally. I didn't know what to think of it when it first came out but now its probably one of my favorite comedies.

Wow! Does the new Vampires look magnificent and Carpenter’s score is excellent on this booming DTS track. Great opening scene.

Shout Factory and Scream Factory titles which are out of print or will soon be discontinued. Get them while you can before they’re gone for good

I git what I need from that list. That’s good. Leviathan, Sure Thing are classics
