Best Buy wouldn't price match Wal-mart for me. They said it was because Wal-mart's is only 4 discs, and theirs is 8. I tried to explain that the box was mislabeled, but they thought I was crazy.

u shouldve bought it, opened it infront of them to show them "theirs" is 4 discs as well and then asked again for the pricematch....and if they still refused, i wouldve said i wanted to return it since "their" version only has 4 disc, when they claim to have 8 in their package... lol

I just wanted to mention that I noticed over at the bluray.com forums that someone contacted Palisades Tartan about this. Apparently they didn't even realize the DTS MA track was left off, and Palisades Tartan is going to remaster the disk with the lossless track. It sounds like the wide release will have the corrected disk and a replacement program will be set up for those of us that got it at Best Buy.

It hasn't started yet. Apparently the guy at Palisades just had the new pressing started today.

Well I just got a chance to watch my set and of course started with Sympathy for Mr Vengeance and what do ya know... it freezes up and skips starting at 1:40:13 and continues to do so for the duration. Anyone else having a problem with this? The disc itself is clean and flawless and the rest of the movie played perfect. I emailed Palisades Tartan to hopefully get a replacement disc without having to go back to best buy.

And to update- I said screw it and returned it to Best Buy for a new set and the same problem happens at the same spot. It actually lasts about 7 minutes, which are unwatchable and if you try to skip through it the whole thing freezes up and just won't work. After that it resumes to playing fine.

I'm going to bring the disc to a friend's house tonight to check it out on his PS3

I just watched my copy the other day on my ps3 and had no issues at all.

SethDLH - I had the same issue on mine. I bought mine over 30 days ago so can't exchange it for a new one. So I contacted Palisades/Tartan; the guy contacted me right away. They don't have any replacement discs in stock, but he said to e-mail him next week and they should have some.

I thought it was an isolated problem, but apparently not. Hopefully the replacement discs are correct.

Glad (in a way) that its not just mine. I actually bought mine for than 30 days ago as well, but I was lucky enough to get a nice employee that overrode the system for me... though it didn't help in the long run.

Thanks for the tip, hopefully on Monday I'll get a response to the email I sent when business hours resume.
