I'll wait and see what the special features are for these re-releases before picking any up. I do hope that all Troma titles stick with the same green cases that the Poutrygeist BD has.

re: Troma on Blu-ray
from Bloody-disgusting.com
"Highlights from the Blu-ray include as follows: new commentary tracks by stars Jason Yachanin and Kate Graham, a commentary track by director Lloyd Kaufman and writer/editor Gabriel Friedman, Poultry in Motion: Truth is Stranger than Chicken, a hilarious and unflinching feature-length behind-the-scenes documentary, the short film Chicken Ass, Ron Jeremy’s alternate “happy ending,” and much more."
atleast there looks to be some new features and not a direct port of what was already available on the dvd. ill be picking this up!

What?! No Toxic Avenger??
I'm just kidding, that's a nice cover for Class of Nuke Em High, but I still would like to see Toxic Avenger. Isn't this the year for the 25th anniversary? I guess we'll get one next year for the 26th Anniversary.

Definitely going to get Class of Nuke 'Em High. Don't own it on DVD.
I'll probably pass on Poultrygeist since I own the 3-Disc DVD.

re: Troma on Blu-ray
Nuke 'Em is one of my favorite Troma films... god the sequels are awful though. CoNEH: Part II in particular is unwatchable, imho. heh.
On a side note... all the coverart for Troma's blu-ray releases have been stellar (well, except for Dark Nature, that one is kinda lame). I don't know who they hired but man, that Tromeo and Juliet blu-ray art makes me want to buy it even though I recently purchased the anniversary DVD set.

re: Troma on Blu-ray
I just discovered a short while ago and the only movie I've seen in its entirety is Poultrygeist. I've seen bits and pieces of The Toxic Avenger but I have all 4 on VHS that my sister taped from FEARnet for me. I tried to get the other popular Troma movies from my library, but they have very FEW. Hopefully, these new releases will mean that some video rental places will have some in stock or that my library might get them.

re: Troma on Blu-ray
FWIW, Troma released their first DVD before Criterion released theirs. I wouldn't exactly call Troma a studio for videophiles or anything -- I'm very curious to see how their BDs turn out -- but they're pretty savvy about capitalizing on any new types of media they can get their hands on.
