Inglourious Basterds 14.99 (+ tax) after $5 off coupon next week @ Target
better than Amazon's current 18.99 price

I was looking at the R2 version at Amazon.uk. I'm safe to assume it is all region?

Yes. On another forum I asked that of 2 people who have it and both said everything was playable on Region A machines.

Re: "Inglorious Basterds" 12/15 !

I just finished it.
Was good but, well I guess it was standard Tarantino which is good for QT fans.
Lot a talking not as much murder and mayhem as I expected.
Too much German and the need for subtitles
I normally don't mind subs for a foreign language film, I just didn't expect that probably half the movie or more was in German and French.
So what was the trouble with the subs?
The yellow color?

Don't even fucking bring it up. Some people obviously fucking forgot that there were subs in the theater and that they were yellow.

Just saw Kill Bill playing on a cable channel the other day, and the subtitles on that were yellow, too. (Don't have the Blu-ray, and don't want to bother checking my DVD to see if they're yellow, too.)

You've obviously never seen a Tarantino film.

Re: "Inglorious Basterds" 12/15 !

Just canceled my Amazon pre-order and ordered the U.K. special edition. It's a little extra, but it's not every day I import BDs.

The R2 looks nice, but if it's just physical packaging differences I'm not going to spend the extra money to import it.

The R2 2 disk package has some nice goodies like :

Limited Edition Content:
Inglourious Basterds Limited Edition Blu-ray comes in a collectable special finish slipcase and includes:
Inpack 4 Stoltz Der Nation poster images
3 Bridget Von Hammersmack Film Poster images
Replica image of the Japanese Teaser Poster
Exclusive James Goodridge key art print
Momma Landa's Old Fashion Austrian Strudel Recipe.

I haven't seen any ads so I don't know if the R1 Limited Edition has much the same stuff.

And I'd trade all that for the Best Buy exclusive disc.

Sweet! I didn't even know BB had an exclusive disc for the film.

I pre-ordered the BD from them. Hope to get it by the end of the week.
