Tom Petty Live Anthology

From Blu-ray.com:
Tom Petty has announced through his official website the upcoming release of 'The Live Anthology', a collection which brings together 62 songs from 1978-2007 culled from hundreds of hours of live recordings. The deluxe box set of this compilation will include a high-resolution Blu-ray audio disc featuring all tracks in both stereo and 5.1 surround sound, with "256 times more audio resolution than a CD".

The set will also include:

* A five-CD set
* Two previously unreleased DVDs including the 1978 New Year's Eve concert from Santa Monica, CA and the Martyn Atkins documentary 400 Days shot during the recording and tour for Wildflowers
* A remastered vinyl of the 1976 Official Live Leg bootleg

Release date is to be determined.
No price listed, but according to the newest issue of Rolling Stone, the Blu-ray set will be "around $100", with the 4-disc CD version selling for a bargain $25. A Neil Young-esque archival collection would have been nice, but this will do in the meantime. More info at www.tompetty.com
