Kubrick Box Set: Is it OOP?

What is the deal with this box set? The individual titles are available, but not the box.

Re: Kubrick Box Set: Is it OOP?

Did Warner ever issue a US box of the five Kubrick BDs?

I don't think they did since they have yet to get around to Lolita, Barry Lyndon or My Life in Pictures for BD.

(Now the DVD edition with Jacket, 2001, Shining, Orange, Eyes, Lolita, Lyndon, Sony's Strangelove and ...in Pictures is OOP and was replaced with one containing the newer editions of Jacket, 2001, Shining, Orange, Eyes along with ...in Pictures.)

I've never seen a Kubrick boxset before unless it was a retailer exclusive which would probably just mean a handful of movies boxed together.

I don't think they issued these recent releases as a box set on Blu Ray, but they did issue them as a box set on DVD.

That's odd. I've never seen a retailer-exclusive Kubrick set, but over the years there have been three different Kubrick box sets released by Warners.

Not here in the US, anyway. If I remember correctly, there was a box for Blu-ray and a box for HD DVD over in the UK or something.

Okay -- France:

yep, I usually respond to posts with the assumption we aren't talking about France

A reasonable assumption, to be sure.

Sorry guys I was confused. Thanks for clearing it up. I remember when the blu-rays came out there was a box set, but that box set was the standard DVD's only.
