Kruger was supposed to show up, but he didn't. They refer to his writing skills as "brilliant".

The first thing Michael Bay says is how much money Transformers has made, and he's really proud of this.

This looks fantastic on Blu, though I didn't watch the shifting aspect ratio version.
He participated in one of the commentaries on the Texas chainsaw massacre(03) dvd.

About what I expected with the commentary. I'm sure there's at least one back handed comment about Megan Fox during the thing commentary as well from Bay...

I love his commentaries as well. I think he seems like a cool dude, I like his movies, I think he has a great eye and great at doing some amazing action sequences, I loved the first transformers and liked this one as well but not as much as the first one. Looking forward to getting the Walmart version

User "jimmirehman" on blu-ray.com was able to get a copy of the Walmart exclusive "Big Screen" edition of this already.....he has confirmed that it does run 2:30:24, which is 31 seconds longer than the regular release, and that the aspect ratio shifts for the Imax shots just like The Dark Knight BD does....

He posted some shots of the packaging here:

He also posted some pics of the Imax expanded scenes here:

Would be rad if you could use that coupon in conjunction with Best Buy's "Doorbuster" BD Deal.

Walmart's 19.96 price is still $2 better than the BB "Doorbuster" deal....

Does the Wal-Mart release have the same special features as all the others? I know it's the IMAX cut, but is everything else the same?

Go up to post #85 in this thread....I gave links to blu-ray.com, where the guy's pics of the Walmart "Big Screen" edition clearly show the exact same features as the regular edition....

This is listed in their latest ad flyer that made the rounds this week, right there on page 5...you can go to walmart.com and look at the local ad to see what the cover will look like...it is different from the regular release, with a close up of Optimus on a black background....it actually fits in more with the art used for the first film's BD release....

Here it is from their ad:

Is this still good? On Wal Marts web site it say's it cost 23 bucks online and prices in store may vary.

Re: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - 10/20/09

I hope, but doubt it will be $19.96 in store. Knowing my Wal-mart it will be about $5 higher than the normal Blu-ray.
