Looks packed. Too bad it's not an extended cut, though. Still, day 1 purchase for me.

Considering Monsters vs. Aliens is hitting DVD/BD in the Fall, it makes sense Paramount wanted to release one of their prime gems in November in order to secure a lot of holiday sales.

I'm sure we will be seeing Transformers around the same time frame to take advantage of the season.

I've slowed down on buying discs recently, but this one is a definite 1st week purchase.

Over at Blu-Ray.com there's a tentative date of Oct. 24 listed for TF:ROTF. I guess they want to space their releases throughout the Fall.

Disgusting that Transformers 2 might be available before Star Trek.

I'm just happy the release is coming this fall as opposed to something even later.

Maybe it's so they can have enough time to complete the FX on a deleted scene where Spock humps Uhura's leg.

That's the cover art. I think it look like shit. They could have done a much better job then this. Looks low budget and way to simple.

The Blu-ray cover looks a LOT better than the single-disc DVD version though. Man that looks terrible...

I prefer the first DVD cover in that link over the BD cover they showed at the bottom. But then I was never a fan of that super blur onesheet. But the faces added to the right made it look worse.

From what I see in shacmasta's pic, the US cover will simply be the super blur onesheet without the faces. Still not great but a little better than the UK BD cover.

Yeah I don't really like the cover art. The blur onesheet just looks bad on that much white imo. I like the BD better than the 1-disc though, hopefully we'll see a SteelBook release on dvd and/or bd.

Pretty much all the print marketing material for this movie have sucked. Why should we expect the trend to change now?

If the only flaw in this release is the cover art, that's fine with me.

Yea, lame cover but whatever, the film rocks and I'm all over it. BB exclusive doesn't do much for me, though I might get it depending on price.
